Extensive additional systems flexibility for Neutrino and Uno DSP customers is available by implementation of the Centro Series site-manager.

In addition to its extensive software, app and remote control device options, Xilica also offers the Centro SM1 site-manager for use with the Neutrino and Uno processors. A one-rack space device with Ethernet and RS-232 connectivity, the SM1 can be hooked up to the network along with Neutrino and Uno processors and NeuPanel control devices via Ethernet cable using the SolaroConsole software GUI.

The SM1 site-manager provides easy and rapid selection and configuration of each of the unit’s four functions. The Centro SM1 Browser Control allows users to control Xilica processors via popular browsers using any smartphone or tablet (including iPhone, iPad, and Android devices).

The Third Party Control Interpreter feature simplifies third-party programming control of Neutrino and Uno processors, whilst the Scheduler provides makes it possible to manage the processors’ presets using a date and time event schedule. Finally, the System Backup feature provides a convenient secondary location and procedure to back-up all critical DSP project files.

Whilst a browser-based control app can be used to successfully manage a single processor, an application involving multiple processors and browsers will be impossible to manage. This is where the SM1 proves to be particularly advantageous because the Centro site-manager operates centrally to all devices on the network, with the result that its single browser control can oversee all the processors on the network.

  • Centro SM1 provides a centralised hub for controlling Xilica Neutrino, Uno and NeuPanel devices through a browser-based interface, allowing multiple unlinked processors to be simultaneously managed
  • Third-Party Control Interpreter makes third-party interfacing with Crestron, AMX, Extron and other panels simple, with greater possibilities system-wide
  • Scheduler allows automated presets, configurations and scene changes using a date/time combination that provides greater flexibility for unmanned Neutrino and Uno products
