Overview

At Xilica Audio Design we have a passion for digital audio. That’s what we do. And the focus of our passion is superb audio performance. If you care about DSP audio performance – you share our passion.

Our Neutrino Series digital processors are one of those products. Audio performance is still important to Xilica in this DSP category so to offset the 48kHz sampling rate we continue to use our 40 bit floating point DSP engine, high performance 24 bit converters, and premium grade mic preamps in Neutrino to ensure best in class audio performance. Designed and engineered in Canada, Neutrino brings a new level of audio performance, ease of use, and value to the world of open architecture-drag & drop audio processing for fixed audio installations.

Description

Neutrino is a drag & drop configured, DHCP enabled digital processor series and is available in four (4) I/O model sizes – 8×8, 8×16, 16×8 and 16×16 with Mic/Line input selection per input, 48v phantom power, and premium grade mic pre-amps (A1616 & A1616-ND model versions shown above).

The Neutrino A0808, A0816, A1608, and A1616 are our standard models.

Neutrino-N model versions (Neutrino A0808-N thru A1616-N) provide Dante enabled network audio capability. Digitally transport 16×16 I/O channels of Dante network audio bi-directionaly over Ethernet cable. Convert the Dante and analog audio streams back to analog or to Dante network audio using another Neutrino-N model or use our Rio R1616-N Dante enabled I/O interface. As well, use Uno-N and Rio R1616N models in conjunction with other Dante enabled brands and devices.

Neutrino-D model versions (A0808-D & A1616-D) provide digital I/O capability – 8×8 AES/EBU channels on a separate connector.

Neutrino-ND combo model versions (Neutrino A0808-ND and A1616-ND) provide a combination of Dante enabled Network audio I/O (16×16) and Digital I/O ( 8×8 AES/EBU).

The Neutrino A1608-AEC model is essentially our A1608 model with up to 8 x AEC inputs plus 8 x Mic/Line inputs for conference system applications or anywhere AEC (acoustic echo cancelation) is required.

And the Neutrino A1608-AEC-N combo model adds Dante enabled network audio to the AEC model.

From a large palette of audio DSP modules, create your personal DSP system design using Neutrino’s open architecture-drag & drop SolaroConsole software to accommodate each unique project requirement. The SolaroConsole software GUI is easy to use and auto features reduce DSP design time and network connection management (in DHCP mode). Download our SolaroConsole software and support documents from the right column.

Control Neutrino via Ethernet using the included SolaroConsole software GUI; with the logic input/relay output ports; using our optional NeuPanel Series Mini and Touch 7 wall controls; with iOS and Android devices via our free SolaroControl apps; or with any third party controller. See SolaroControl under Downloads at right and go to NeuPanel Series for details regarding Mini and Touch 7 control options.
