Designed in Canada with the live sound, rental, small installation and MI verticals in mind, XA products feature a 96kHz 40-bit floating-point DSP engine with high-performance 24-bit converters.
Offering a choice of three I/O combinations, 2×4, 2×6 and 4×8, XA Series products provide a cost-effective footprint for a range of channel counts. XA products feature XLR line-level inputs and outputs, but do not utilise AES/EBU or mic/line switchable inputs. Additionally, advanced DSP processing algorithms such as FIR, GEQ and compressors are removed to provide a more affordable entry-level solution.
XA products additionally feature USB and RS232 connectivity for configuration, control and monitoring, whilst many command features can be accessed through the DSP’s front-panel, or with a computer running the user-intuitive XConsole software.

An integral element of the Xilica range, the Xilica Designer Software was developed to provide optimum configuration of Solaro Series processors.
The Xilica Designer software includes three active universal components. The first of these, universal platform, makes it possible to deploy the new Xilica Designer software on the user’s Windows PC or Mac. The second, universal Dante configuration, provides the ability to universally configure and manage any brand of Dante interface device on the market. The third, universal third-party device control integration (universal protocol control.
Two methods can be used to configure other manufacturers Dante enabled devices. The user can select from the growing number of Dante interface product brands already populating the Xilica Designer menu, including devices from Attero Tech, Bose, RCF, RDL and Yamaha.
And alternatively, for those Dante interface product brands not included in the menu, Xilica provides a Generic Dante Device module that can be configured and turned into any Dante enabled device brand connected to the Dante network.
Xilica also provides third universal component in the form of universal third-party device control integration (universal protocol control). Described as the most important universal component of Xilica Designer, this component makes it possible to simply drag & drop popular AV product brand models from the menu into the designer software and from each product brand module – drag & drop any or all available controls into any of Xilica’s programmable remote control options (wired touch controls, wireless iOS/Android control devices, etc). Xilica having done all the third-party protocol control work in the background for the user.
Widely regarded as being easy to learn and use, Xilica Designer does not require extensive training and is therefore geared towards quick and straightforward implementation by the integrator community.
As the pre-configured version of Neutrino, Uno reduces the need for programming skill and DSP design time by basing itself around a portfolio of pre-configured DSP designs. This ease of implementation has made the range a popular choice for a variety of fixed audio installation environments and project budgets.
Xilica can provide a pre-configured DSP design for nearly every application from its online design library. In addition, the company can also provide complimentary ‘custom’ pre-configured designs – designed to the user’s precise requirements.
The pre-configured Uno processors are DHCP-enabled network devices and are available in four primary I/O model sizes – 8×8, 8×16, 16×8 and 16×16 with Mic/Line and 48V phantom power selection per input and premium grade mic pre-amps.
Uno-N model versions provide Dante-enabled network audio capability over Ethernet (Uno Dante I/O follows analog I/O). Streams can be converted to/from analogue and Dante using another Uno-N model, our Rio Series Dante-enabled interface devices, or via any Dante enabled product brand.
The Uno U0808-D and U1616-D model versions provide additional I/O in the form of 8×8 AES/EBU digital audio I/O, whilst the Uno U1608-AEC model version provides eight AEC inputs (Acoustic Echo Cancellation). Finally, the U0808-ND, U1616-ND and U1608-AEC-N combo model versions provide additional I/O and application flexibility.
Uno products can be controlled & programmed via Ethernet using the included Xilica Designer software, which enables the straightforward adjustment of parameters, creation of presets, and programming of controls. Control is also possible via: the wired Mini series wall controls; wirelessly with the XTouch App via iOS and Android devices; the processors GPIO ports; or any third-party control system.
Designed to suit applications throughout the commercial integration market, the Uno Series provides customers with the most comprehensive pre-configured DSP solution on the market.
A winning combination of audio performance, ease of use and cost-efficiency is offered by Neutrino processors. Neutrino comprises a DHCP-enabled processor series available in four primary I/O model sizes – 8×8, 8×16, 16×8 and 16×16 with Mic/Line and 48V phantom power selection per input and premium grade mic pre-amps.
Neutrino is founded upon the dual-notion of drag-and-drop simplicity and the ability to configure the precise DSP design required by the customer. Accordingly, Neutrino’s drag-and-drop Xilica Designer software can be used to accommodate each project need, and incorporates a GUI that is designed to reduce DSP design time.
Neutrino products can be controlled in a number of ways: via Ethernet using the included Xilica Designer software GUI; with the GPIO ports; the optional NeuPanel Mini wall controls; iOS and Android devices via the free XTouch App; and any third-party controller.
The connectivity capability of the Neutrino models is customizable through a number of different variants. The Neutrino-N model versions provide Audinate Dante-enabled network audio capability.
This makes it possible to digitally transport 16×16 I/O channels of Dante network audio bi-directionally over Ethernet. Dante and analogue audio streams can be converted back to analogue or to Dante network audio using another Neutrino-N DSP, Rio Series interface, or other Dante-enabled device brands.
Examining other models in the series, the Neutrino-D model versions provide digital I/O capability of 8×8 AES/EBU channels, while Neutrino-ND combo model versions deliver a combination of Dante network audio I/O (16×16) and digital I/O (8×8 AES/EBU).
The Neutrino A1608-AEC model (Acoustic Echo Cancellation) provides up to eight AEC mic inputs – configured as four 2ch AEC modules in Xilica Designer. Finally, the Neutrino A1608-AEC-N combo model adds Dante enabled network audio to the AEC model.
Designed to suit a wealth of applications in the commercial integration market, the Neutrino series offers optimum ease of use and entry level drag & drop configured cost-efficiency for integrators and consultants.
